A popular spot for locals and guests alike, the signature restaurant, DeBretts Kitchen specialises in contemporary New Zealand fare. Seasonal menus make the most of locally sourced produce and are creative and fresh. With its splendid Art Deco setting reminiscent of the roaring Twenties, Housebar is perfect for a quiet, cosy drink or a social get together. The menu is inspired by the hotel’s historical past, offering plenty of classical cocktail mixes.
A favourite amongst locals, Cornerbar is the social hub and serves a sensational selection of local craft beers and New Zealand wines. For a snack, the establishment offers a selection of light meals and house baked pizza. In keeping with the hotel’s charm and style, guests can indulge in a 1920’s-inspired High Tea. Available on Saturdays and Sundays between 1-4pm enjoy a “Bees Knees” cocktail on arrival, before tasty treats including Champagne Knox Dainties, Jaffa Mousse and Hokey Pokey tartlets.
