Queensland Reef, Rainforest & Outback
Australia’s second biggest state, Queensland holds many of the country’s greatest treasures from pristine reefs and rainforests to dramatic outback landscapes.
Home to an incredible variety of marine life, the Great Barrier Reef spans 2,000 kilometres along the country’s north-eastern coastline, and is the only living structure on earth visible from space. Discover the beautiful white-sand beaches of Orpheus Island, before heading north to the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park. Hidden amid lush rainforest, Daintree Ecolodge is located in the heart of the park and the ideal spot to discover the hidden wonders within. Your final stop is Mount Mulligan Lodge, a secluded outback lodge situated on a 28,000-hectare plot of land in the shadows of Mount Mulligan.

From Cairns, whose airport is a major hub, you could travel to Darwin, gateway to the Northern Territory’s Top End, which is famous for Kakadu National Park, flourishing indigenous culture and ubiquitous wildlife.
