Staying in the heart of the island at intimate Ecopia Retreat, discover the flora and fauna of Flinders Chase National Park, or visit some of the coastal hotspots including Seal Bay and the Kelly Hill Caves. Head north and finish at The Louise, a lovely hilltop property in the Barossa Valley. Adelaide is serviced by direct flights from all major Australian capitals and dozens of international hubs including Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.

For a true outback adventure, head a little further north to the dramatic Flinders Rangers. From Adelaide, it’s just a short flight to Melbourne, often considered Australia’s sporting capital and the most liveable city in the world. Alternatively, it is also driving distance and a stop at Victoria’s Grampians National Park is a fantastic way to break up the journey.

Days 1/2


Your journey begins in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. Home to a superb restaurant and nightlife scene, there are also terrific beachside suburbs to experience, including Glenelg and Brighton.

Days 3-5

Kangaroo Island

Drive south to idyllic Kangaroo Island, staying in the island’s interior at the peaceful Ecopia Retreat. On arrival taste some of the island’s local produce with a welcoming gourmet platter and bottle of wine. Over the next three days explore Flinders Chase National Park, home to the Glossy Black Cockatoo, or visit some of the coastal hotspots including Seal Bay and the Kelly Hill Caves.

Days 6-8

Barossa Valley

Head north to South Australia’s premier wine district, the Barossa Valley and spend the next 3 nights at The Louise. Experience a Founders wine tasting experience at Elderton Wines. Get an exclusive look at the winery, its 125-year history and heritage before a tasting of some distinctive and world-renowned wines. Enjoy a behind the scenes look at the Casa Carboni Cooking School and learn the secrets of a traditional Italian pasta. Finally experience the very best of South Australian dining at The Louise’s signature restaurant – Appellation*. A number of other unique experiences are available including a visit to a working farm or even breakfast with kangaroos (all extra cost). B (Days 7 & 8 only).

After a hearty breakfast checkout and transfer back to Adelaide. Tour ends. B
