Victoria

Victoria enompasses beachy coastlines beautiful national parks and pristine wineries

World-class museums, sporting arenas, lively markets and shopping strips make the city a year-round destination and has previously been awarded the world’s most liveable city multiple years running. Within an hours drive of the city are two of Australia’s best wine regions, the verdant Yarra Valley and the rolling landscapes of the Mornington Peninsula.

Three hours west of Melbourne, the Grampians National Park is one of Victoria’s best wilderness areas. The rugged mountain range is dotted with beautiful walking trails that lead to pretty waterfalls, rock pools and canyons.  When not out walking amongst nature, the surrounding region has a number of excellent wineries, country pubs and beautiful towns to explore.

To the south, the Great Ocean Road along the south-west coastline has long been a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and short romantic getaways. The 12 Apostles are a major highlight while the sensational coastal walking paths in Cape Otway National Park are a joy to explore. The picturesque seaside town of Port Fairy is another popular destination with its beautiful coastline, lighthouse and fascinating craft stores.
